Regularly invited to the parties of the This is Amapiano collective and already accustomed to the |D/A\W/A\ parties, it wasn’t hard to guess that Mosofè would join the Parisian crew sooner or later. Diyou, Nek London and Ata are proud to welcome this young DJ and producer with a multicultural profile to their ransk. Born in Guadeloupe, his natural Caribbean influences coexist with those of South Africa or Brazil, where he lived before settling in France. Whether it is the music he produces or plays, his music is naturally hybrid, weaving rhythmic links between continents and taking the path between afro-house, afrobeats, gqom, bouyon or soca. Both coherent and borderless, this eclectic and technically impeccable DJ set features 32 tracks in the space of 45 minutes made exciting with its progressive tempo: from the amapiano of Kabza de Small to the uptempo baile funk of Sango, we’ll let you discover what happens in between…
“For PAM Club, I wanted to combine different genres of Afro-diasporic club music that influence my sets and compositions, by mixing them with some of my own compositions. Although these genres come from different geographical spaces, I like to build my sets by creating bridges between them. From the Caribbean to South Africa, through Brazil and Angola, let yourself be taken on this journey between eclectic genres.”
