Dope Saint Jude returns with 'Go High Go Low', a love letter to Cape Flats

South African rapper Dope Saint Jude praises her hometown in her new video “Go High Go Low”.

Originally from Cape Town in the Cape Flats region, Dope Saint Jude is an artist who defends her values and beliefs through music. After her first EP, Reimagine and the recent EP Resilient, the rapper unveils the clip of her new single “Go High Go Low”.

Shot in the Cape Flats, Dope Saint Jude pays tribute to the place where she lived in the video. This celebration is built in several parts, notably with an unmissable venue such as the Golden Dish, a symbolic restaurant during the apartheid era, or artistic references with Michelangelo’s statue of the Pieta.
