In his constant quest for innovation, he has turned many preconceived ideas upside down, his musical identity also evolved through the decades and the oceans, while remaining himself. That’s why he’s a super inspiring artist for me. So I wanted to give him a big wink, and remind him that music is a continuum, beyond eras, genres, labels.”
