Producer and promoter send us his new afrohouse mix – a genre that inspired him over the making of his last EP.
One hour of Afrohouse dancefloor-oriented, with tracks from Gardy Girault, Babes Wodumo, Dorivaldo, Patoranking, Emo Kid, Rudeboyz, Caiiro and LeoBeatz. A mix that follows the spirit of Poirier’s Montreal parties (La Sauce and Qualité de Luxe).
Poirier gives us more details via an email: “We can definitively feel an interest for Afro-house in Montreal. And I also see this interest around the world Haïti, La Réunion, Europe, etc.). In this mix, I play with instrumental and vocal tracks, also adding non-afrohouse tracks – like gqom – that fit well with the genre.”
Poirier will play in Geneva (La Gravière) the 11th May 2018 and in Winchester (BoomTown Fair) in August 2018.
