Kayode Odesanya, better known as Kida Kudz, continues his 2019 impressive run and offers his first song of the year with “1AM”. The rapper, who is developing his own style, which he calls “Afroswank”, join forces with Jaykae, a rising rapper from Birmingham, on this laid-back afrobeats vibe song. The track samples the cult track “Ahomka Womu” by Ghanaian hiplife band VIP and offers a melodious reinterpretation that is perfectly in tune with the times.
