Joe Kingston speaks love and vulnerability on single

In his new video, the Paris-based Beninese rapper unveils a smooth and romantic french rap song, where he confesses his fear of being turned down.

Emotion and vulnerability can frighten us, but artist Joe Kingston embraces them on his latest single “Coller.” The track is a tender and honest declaration of love based on the sincerity of his feelings, which are plagued by doubt and fear. His open-mindedness, Afrobeat accents and warm flow make it a very appealing track. The star adds his personal touch to the rhythm, finding small spaces to show his lyrical dexterity.

Born in Benin but based in Paris, Joe Kingston is a young artist who seeks to bring African music to the world. On “Coller,” he shows that he can deliver sincere lyrics in a catchy single.
