PAM Club : Ancestral Charm by Moone

An emerging DJ born in Abidjan, Moone delivers an Afro-house-tinged set, as an appetizer for their forthcoming performance at Maquis Electroniq.

Convinced by their ability to share their love of music, it was Moone’s friends who encouraged them to embark on their DJing adventure. Attached to the traditional music of their country, Moone started in 2021, mixing African electronic music in all its forms. With gqom, kuduro and afro-house in their arsenal, the self-taught DJ focuses above all on emotions and energy. Despite their short experience behind the decks, Moone is already showcasing their passion, from Lyon’s Nuits Sonores to Abidjan’s La Sunday festival, via Accra’s Imullar Sound System. They have also joined Ghanaian radio station Oroko to run a residency, which they host between two of their Selective Taste newsletters, which discuss art and music. Moone will be on the bill for the 3rd edition of the Maquis Electroniq festival, which promises to rock the Ivorian capital between December 1 and 3, 2023!
