For the first time in the PAM Club history, we bring you a 100% Afrobeats set by one of the movement’s key architects: DJ Voyst.
Born in Lagos, DJ Voyst is used to entertaining crowds as an MC and hype man. Fully immersed in the Afrobeats scene, he jumped on the bandwagon in 2015 and started playing with his decks, sharing his passion and expertise for this genre which, at the time, was in full expansion in Nigeria. Under the supervision of mentors like DJ Neptune, DJ Tunez and DJ Tee, he honed his technique and began a brilliant ascent. Nicknamed the “Sound Surgeon”, he established himself as a key player in the Afrobeats revolution, at the heart of the movement, with an interest in both superstars and emerging artists. As such, he already boasts a long list of collaborations, putting the finesse of his production at the service of artists such as Joeboy and Oxlade (“Gbese”), Terri and Blaqbonez (“Hold You Down”), and more recently Dai Verse, with the track “Overload” which introduces and gives its name to this 40-track mixtape!
