Yemi Alade confirms she is the 'nigerian queen of clips' with 'Yaji'

Albia-born Afropop singer drops an explosive music video for her last single, featuring Slimcase and Brainee.

Yemi Alade‘s new track is all about putting the dancefloor on fire. Featuring fellow countrymen Slimcase and Brainee, the song’s lively beat relies on a very heady guitar riff.

Yemi’s talent for music videos is not to proove anymore, and this clip maintains the high quality she has got everyone used to. The video starts with a shot of the diva throwing a Molotov cocktail to a car, followed by dynamic visuals where outfits and choregraphies are under the spotlight.

This release follows the succes of her track « Oga », issued in January. Yemi is considered as the “Nigerian queen of music videos” mainly for her video clip « Johnny » released in 2014. It went over 100 million views, one of the highest yet by any Nigerian artist.
