The young Cameroonian DJ has released an extract from his new EP, Before Zeun Ya Yop, which will be released on his birthday, June 12.
The producer, originally from the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundé, defines himself as a “free thinker” on “No Lele,” a single released in collaboration with Sizeless. In the track “Zeun Ya Yop,” Nkom Bivoué takes on the persona of an alien straight from the planet Sirún and names his dancing fans the “Sirúnians.”
“I don’t follow the trend but I do what I feel.”
