Rich The Kid, Jay Critch and Skillibeng play "Real Boss"

The two American rappers join forces with the rising Jamaican star for an ode to lust.

Skillibeng is a young dancehall artist with growing success in Jamaica. After his 2020 single, “Crocodile Teeth,” the singer moves away from street life and towards love and lust alongside New Yorkers Rich The Kid and Jay Critch. Of Haitian descent, Rich The Kid is proud of his native Queens, while Jay Critch remains very attached to Brooklyn, where he grew up alongside a Trinidadian mother and a Guyanese father. The Rich Forever Music label, founded by Rich The Kid, was a springboard for the young Jay Critch, who was influenced by Lil Wayne and Jay-Z.

In the video for “Real Boss”, the three men indulge in the ideals of women and wealth, with the lyrics evoking the stupefying effects of: “I smoked the pound, I’m blinded.” The three artists explore carnal pleasure embodying the figure of the “real boss.

It comes from The Prodigy “Ladies Only” Mixtape, soon available on all platforms.
