The Ghanaian rapper unveils a new collaboration with a Nigerian artist shortly after his recent featuring with heavyweight Runtown.
On an afrobeats instrumental signed by the notorious KillBeatz, the message of the track is clear: if your girlfriend isn’t cheerful, the two companions will be happy to take over! The visuals are tinged with humour, as usual for the members of La Même Gang, the creative collective from Accra to which Darkovibes belongs. The appearance of King Promise, an important artist in the Ghanaian industry, is to be noted. The video is signed Yaw Skyface, known for having worked with Shatta Wale or Sarkodie. This production is one more solo piece for Darkovibes: it would be reasonable to expect a whole project, after the La Même Gang’s performance at the prestigious SXSW festival in Austin in March 2020.
