Wale comes by the NPR offices for an impressive Tiny Desk

The Washington D.C. rapper didn’t have to travel far for his Tiny Desk session at NPR, also based in the U.S. capital.

The 35-year-old rapper’s performance was recorded during the four days of the Tiny Desk Fest, which saw many artists performing behind the famous offices converted into a mini-concert hall of the National Public Radio. Wale‘s Tiny Desk concert opens with his very first hit record and ends with his latest. He performs an extensive list of his most famous hits (“Lotus Flower Bomb”, “LoveHate Thing”, “CC White”) and highlights from his latest opus Wow… That’s Crazy (“Sexy Lady”, “Sue Me”, “On Chill”), surrounded by his musicians Jerry Vernable on percussion, Eric Curry on drums, Glenn Cobb on keys, Daniel Bennet on bass and Stanley Thompson on guitar.
