Tiwa Savage shares the visuals for “Dangerous Love”, extract from upcoming album

The Nigerian superstar unveils the romantic and light-hearted video of “Dangerous Love”, already in the top 10 of 16 African countries.

Tiwa Savage needs no introduction: with a career lasting more than 10 years, with numerous classics, hits and three albums to her name, the afrobeat singer is indeed a superstar. In 2018, she even managed to beat Davido, Fally Ipupa and Shekhinah by being selected as the best African artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The singer is currently preparing her 4th album, Celia, which should be released very soon via American label Motown. “Dangerous Love” is a single of the upcoming project and sets the bar high for this body of work. Produced by Cracker Mallo, a beatmaker known for his collaborations with Olamide and Zlatan, the track is a bewitching and suave mix of afrobeats and RnB.

In the vocals that punctuate the refrains, one can recognize in particular the signature voice of the singer Oxlade, who participated in the elaboration of the title track. The scenario of the clip is simple and perfectly embodies the purpose of the song: Tiwa, under the advice of her friends, prepares herself for the dangerous coming of her crush.
