The British-Ghanaian DJ and producer has joined forces with Knucks, Sam Wise and Kadiata to release the first single from his debut album Sounds of My World, which will be released later this year.
Juls has concocted a vibrant party, urging us to celebrate the advent of summer. Speaking on his single, he said “This song is a blend of Funk Carioca, Azonto and Baile Fun but it still has a very fresh British vibe to it whilst sounding very African at the same time. Knucks, Sam Wise and Kadiata bring the heat with their clever, witty flows. I couldn’t think of anyone else to jump on this riddim. It’s a very fun track, and hopefully, it becomes another favourite birthday song, especially for the ladies.”
Following collaborations with Burna Boy, Lauryn Hill, Mr Eazi, Tyler The Creator and WizKid, Juls now joins Sam Wise, Kadiata and Knucks, perfectly illustrating the energy of this British musical renaissance. The DJ is recognized as one of the best producers of Afrobeats, exploring the musical diversity of the black diasporas. His first album, Sounds of My World, will be released in September.
