Headie One has released “Siberia,” a track that accompanies the reissue of his album Edna, which features Burna Boy.
Headie One has concocted a surprise for fans: eight new tracks on the luxury edition of his album Edna, which is already at the top of the UK sales lists and unanimously acclaimed in the British press. The album is a tribute to his mother, named Edna: “As a debut album, there’s no one else I could really give the name to. She’s a huge motivation behind my journey and my music. She keeps me going.”
Among these novelties is the single “Siberia,” released on Thursday evening. Magnified by the vocals of the Nigerian artist Burna Boy, the track is full of lyrical reflection. Headie One reveals the new expectations he faces since success, a metamorphosis quickened by the “Only You Freestyle” he released with Drake. These thoughts are sublimated by the melody adorned with drums as well as guitar.
