Currently on a world tour, the Nigerian superstar went back home for a few days to shoot this inspiring video.
Following the huge success of Twice As Tall, Burna Boy has travelled the world, made featurings with huge artists and picked up some awards. But it seems like the African Giant has not abandoned the studio. Indeed, in the last three months, he has dropped the video of “Kilometers” and has appeared on the remix of Mozambican DJ Tarico’s “Yaba Buluku”. Today, he surprised his fans with the brand new video of “Question”, featuring legendary Nigerian record producer Don Jazzy.
The visuals seem to set Burna in a small village where, despite being loved by the local children, the singer stirs up the jealousy of some ill-intentioned people. While he plays with the kids and flirts with a model, one of his rivals plots a bombing. But it takes more to take down our global superstar who ends the video alive and smiling. The visuals, directed by TG Omori, also showcases a very West-African aesthetic, featuring local hair salons and tailors. With “Question” being a second single from Burna Boy since his last album, could the singer be working on a new project?
