Eku Fantasy is a new project from Nigerian Olugbenga Adelekan – English band Metronomy’s bassist – and the South African-based Gareth Jones a.k.a. Jumping Back Slash. Inspired by sci-fi, their music is a blend of Gareth’s electronic apocalyptic landscape and the recognizable voice of Nigerian artist. The music video of “Living On The Outside’ bluntly questions problems about “outsider status and alienation, our connections to technology and the human mind in space and time.”
