After This Is America, here is This Is Nigeria. Nigerian rapper Falz has made his own version of Childish Gambino’s viral music video (210 million views and counting). Released at the beginning of the month, the video portrays America’s most notorious issues like guns, racism and police violence.
Dark and engaging, Falz’s cover condemns corruption, insecurity and youth idleness. We also see dancers dressed like the schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014.
