“La La Love” and “Tuba Tuba” are singles from Pierre Kwender’s second album MAKANDA at the End of Space, the Beginning of Time set to be released on September 8th via Bonsound.
After a critically acclaimed summer hit, Pierre Kwenders comes back with a double single. The Canadian artist born in Kinshasa explains : “La La Love is a love anthem, Pierre explains. Everybody needs love. We can’t get enough of it. Life is short. Let’s enjoy it and dance. No need to bother with what others say. Live and let live, that’s the spirit of Tuba Tuba. These two songs meet in the spirit of celebration, that of love and life.”
For “La La Love’, Pierre collaborates with Ghanaian-born Canadian artist Kae Sun and Tanyaradzwa, a talented Seattle-based singer. The result is a fast and sweet track full of joy and nostalgia.
On “Tuba Tuba”, Pierre Kwenders puts liars in their place on a funky instrumental driven by an heady electric guitar.
