Kojey Radical makes it big on Colors

For his second venue on Colors, the Londonian MC invites his band to play ‘Cashmere Tears’ and extend the setting of the Berliner studio.

Kojey Radical, alias Kwadwo Adu Genfi Amponsah, proves once again to be one of his generation’s most stunning artists in the London rap scene. He recently just stopped to the famous Berlin channel for a warm and cheerful interpretation of “Cashemere Tears”, the title track to his latest 10-track EP, a funk-inspired extraordinary creative project released last September.

Released on Asylum Records UK, Cashmere Tears, is already Kojey Radical’s fourth project. His lyrics speak of depression, loneliness, mental health and also refer to Afrocentrism, an important theme for the poet.
