In less than a month, Bordeaux will host its boldest edition yet of East Africa’s most boundary pushing festival. On July 12 & 13, Nyege Nyege Festival will land at Les Vivres de l’Art for 26 hours of non-stop music, featuring 30 artists from 17 countries. Expect explosive rhythms, ecstatic dancing, and the best of the African underground straight from the shores of the Nile.
Ten years ago, Nyege Nyege began as a late night party in Kampala. Today it’s a movement with is own record label, a global touring agency, and a pink villa tucked away in Kampala where artist residencies pump out genre defying music. From Berlin to Kampala, Paris to Jakarta, Nyege Nyege is a cultural force that celebrates sound without borders.

In 2019, PAM helped bring Nyege Nyege to Paris hosting one its first parties in the French capital. Now, after two sold-out editions at Le Point Fort in Aubervilliers, we’re taking the madness south alongqside Feu Flamme, Bordeaux’s fire starters in nightlife and cultural activism.
Across two days, two stages, and one chaotic club night at Bien Public, we welcome legends like DJ Diaki, MC Yallah and Debmaster, DJ Travella, Phelimuncasi, Jako Maron, and Otim Alpha, plus new icons like Tatyana Jane, Violence Gratuite, De Schuurman, and Bordeaux’s own La Sueur.
Come witness what happens when global bass, African innovation, and pure rave spirit collide.
