The London-based artist has announced SOURCE + WE MOVE<\/em>, with nine guest remixes of original tracks from her debut project. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

London-based saxophonist and composer Nubya Garcia released her debut album, SOURCE<\/a><\/em>, last year. The project met with considerable critical success and was even shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize. The musician now returns with a remix album, SOURCE + WE MOVE<\/em>. The reworked versions of the original tracks preserve the composer’s musicality, which blends jazz and other influences, while introducing a more rhythmic and electronic dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the nine new remixes that make up this project, Nubya has surrounded herself with a range of equally innovative artists including Dengue Dengue Dengue<\/a>, Kaidi Tatham, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Moses Boyd<\/a>. The saxophonist has already dropped some of the tracks from SOURCE + WE MOVE<\/em>, including remixes of “Together Is A Beautiful Place To Be” by Nala Sinephro, “La cumbia me est\u00e1 llamando” by Kaidi Tatham, “Pace” by Moses Boyd, “Stand with Each Other” by KeiyaA and “The Message Continues\u201d by DJ Harrison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
