He is known for applying the practice of sampling to modern jazz composition, beatmaking, vocals as well as impressionistic drumming styles. His debut album <em><a href=\"https:\/\/leavingrecords.bandcamp.com\/album\/effectual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EFFECTUAL<\/a><\/em>, released in 2016, marked a powerful solo effort that established his affinity for minimalism. The musician has collaborated with artists such as Jeff Parker, Carlos Ni\u00f1o and Solange.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=822409669\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"https:\/\/intlanthem.bandcamp.com\/album\/but-only-after-you-have-suffered\">But Only After You Have Suffered by Jamire Williams<\/a><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Williams now presents &#8220;Safe Travels,&#8221; a three-part Southern rap track with lyrics by Houston-based MC Fat Tony and his Los Angeles-based younger brother Zeroh. The sample used is grounded in orchestral sounds taken from Skip Mahoaney and the Casuals&#8217; &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=x1LeH-aQZZY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I Need Your Love<\/a>.&#8221; The second single from his forthcoming album <em>But Only After You Have Suffered<\/em> was released via International Anthem and recorded at Stones Throw Studios in Los Angeles. &#8220;<em>It&#8217;s a whole work<\/em>,&#8221; Jamire explains, &#8220;<em>it flows seamlessly and it&#8217;s meant to be played until you really understand what&#8217;s going on.
