Known for his project Son of Uri, and his collaboration with Muzi, Dios has teased his forthcoming EP, slated for an October 8 release. Entitled Panorama Route EP, the project will be composed of three songs. “This EP was not only inspired by my trials and tribulations of the past but was also inspired by the Panorama Route itself, in Mpumalanga, South Africa,” Espacio Dios tells us. “Viewing the multiple landscapes on the Route evoked a journey to self-acceptance and finding peace. Each location on the Panorama Route, from the Bourke’s Luck Potholes to The Three Rondavels, had eroded years after and left behind the beauty we see now. The beautiful chaos of the natural attractions connects to the bittersweet feeling of the EP.”

As part of the new project, the artist has released the lead single “Insecure,” featuring vocals from newcomers James Deacon and Fettiboy Jim and accompanied by visuals directed by Clout Killed The Kids, Muzi and Dios’ production collective. The video gives visual representation to the insecurities evoked in the lyrics, which plague him in the dark, away from the gaze of the outside world. “I am so excited about this video,” he says. “The song directly translates to the visual narrative where my insecurities are personified and have initial control.
