In addition to his solo endeavours, he is a core member of Shabaka Hutchings\u2019 group Sons Of Kemet, plays in Kano&#8217;s live band, and has collaborated with <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/little-simz\/?_per_page=17\">Little Simz<\/a>, Stormzy, Nubya Garcia, and others. Today, he announces his forthcoming solo album <em>Intra-I<\/em>, out on October 29 via New Soil. The project will be an uplifting celebration of Black music that helps redefine the sonic possibilities of the tuba. The record \u2013 which features Remi Graves, Shumba Maasai, Afronaut Zu, Ahnans\u00e9, Consensus and Oren Marshall \u2013 is also Cross&#8217; first music to feature collaborations with guest vocalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe Go Again\u201d and \u201cThe Spiral,\u201d both taken from the album, are already available, with the latter coming with dedicated visuals.
