This provided a kind of escapism for David Walters within a difficult context. <\/p>\n\n\n\nHe explains: “Fela Kuti<\/a> said \u2018music is a weapon\u2019 and it is true that music is a weapon that shoots towards the future and as long as we, artists, we can express ourselves, we can use music as a lever to free ourselves.<\/em>” He adds: “It’s very hard right now, as there are no concerts, it’s complicated because it’s almost an attack on freedom of expression. Artists can no longer express themselves and we know the weight that artists can have… It is a word that is important and that we miss at this time<\/em>.” The title of the album refers to the “melancholy<\/em>” of classical music, particularly Chopin’s Nocturnes<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
