Lojay explains the message of the track: “‘Tonongo’ expresses the depth of emotion that lies beneath the surface. The single was inspired by the atmosphere of a strip club \u2013 dark and moody \u2013 a fitting ode to the dancer that inspired the writing of this song. I love the duality of this track. It ended up building itself and that’s the beauty of it, the beauty of the music. It’s so spiritual. I’m just a vessel.
