Within this region lies the town Binga, where Samba Tour\u00e9 grew up. As a result, the artist has dedicated his fourth album to the city of his childhood, a place he\u2019ll always be in love with. Despite the military conflicts in northern Mali, which he evoked on his album <em>Albala<\/em> in 2013, Samba Tour\u00e9 is delighted to return to his native land to share what he defines as &#8220;pure Songhoy music,&#8221; strongly tinged with the blues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Tamala\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1gg1o0UH-Pg?feature=oembed&#038;autoplay=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After starting his musical career with the multicultural group Farafina Lolo, which made the singer very popular in Mali, the album <em>Binga <\/em>is a true cultural introspection restoring the prestige of the Songhoy culture, in continuity with his first album <em>Songha\u00ef Blues, Homage to Ali Farka Tour\u00e9<\/em>. Nevertheless, the label <a href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/tag\/glitterbeat-records\/\">Glitterbeat Records<\/a>, that has accompanied Samba Tour\u00e9 for years, defines <em>Binga<\/em> as &#8220;the most intimate&#8221; of his works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The album will be available on April 9, 2021, via <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/glitterbeat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Glitterbeat Records<\/a>.
