Invented by Cairo youth at the end of the 2000s, it was played during wedding parties in which DJs repackaged the genre in electronic beats and trance.But since then, the cha\u00e2bi has never ceased to inspire novelty, as shown in this new compilation, which offers a mix of variants, including electro as well as grime, kuduro and dancehall, all coming from this new Egyptian wave in Cairo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=2661825070\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nashazphone.bandcamp.com\/album\/this-is-cairo-not-the-screamers\">This is Cairo Not The Screamers by Various Artists<\/a><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Unveiled audacious label Nashazphone, <em>This Is Cairo Not The Screamers<\/em> releases a new sense of energy made possible in part thanks to computers and the abundant creativity of the Egyptian capital.
