While Banks<\/a> describes modestly the project, it’s collaborations with superstars Tiwa Savage<\/a> and Mr Eazi<\/a>, are proof that he succeeds in everything he touches<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The French rapper of “pleurs du mal” embodies by his lyricism, the suffering of his generation with the charm and flow of a great artist, who has always been committed to Pan-Africanism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the experimental electronic turn of her last EP (released in September), Sabrina Bellaouel<\/a> returns to an RnB with dreamlike and mysterious accents. She conceives Libra as a quest for the self, and its impulses and desires in an enigmatic sound that \u201dcreates bridges to get off the beaten track.<\/em>\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrived in the trap game two years ago with her video clip “One Way”, this artist from Boissy-Saint-L\u00e9ger (94) already imposes herself as the “Trap Mama” of French-speaking rap. Also used to going to West Africa, and more particularly to her country of origin, Ivory Coast, she signed a featuring with one of the rising figures of the country, Widgunz<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is used to denounce the xenophobic comments of the Tsonga people while continuing to share good vibes, the best way for her to get her pacifist messages across. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A groundbreaking work in electronic maloya music, this treasure from the Indian Ocean is part of the island\u2019s cultural identity, which has long been divided between sega music (associated with colonialism) and traditional maloya that refers to the torments of slavery.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This American duo has nothing to prove. Madlib and Karriem Riggins have finally unveiled their debut under the name Jahari Massamba Unit<\/a>, and it is a real success. The two acolytes have been working together for several years now:Riggins plays drums and producer Madlib adds numerous layers on top. They worked the same arrangement to create a track under the pseudonym Jahari Massambi Unit on Madlib’s High Jazz<\/em> compilation in 2010. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nigerian singer and songwriter Damilola Afolabi, popularly known as L.A.X., returns with a new 12-track Afrobeats album featuring artists such as Tiwa Savage<\/a>, Mr Eazi<\/a>, Simi, Peruzzi, Tekno, Timiboi and Omar The DJ. L.A.X started out as a rapper in high school in a band called Flyboiz, since then his talent has never ceased to make him climb the steps of success.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
