DJ Neptune presents Nobody: The Extended Playlist (Worldwide Remixes)<\/em>, an album of remixes by artists from all over the world, all interpreting \u201cNobody,\u201d an afropop track released with Mr Eazi and Joeboy. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Nigerian DJ and producer shares the 12 new remixes of his afropop track “Nobody,” released with Mr. Eazi<\/a> and Joeboy<\/a>, on an album with a global identity. The original version was one of the biggest Afrobeat hits of 2020, generating over 90 million streams and topping Apple Music’s singles chart in eight countries. The guest list includes artists from all over Africa as well as from around the world. It is a global success that has become a global business, as DJ Neptune explains: “\u2019Nobody\u2019 is one of the year\u2019s biggest afrobeat hits, so it was only right for me to reach out to different amazing artists, ones that are leaders in the territory they’re from and make it truly a worldwide affair<\/em>.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We find Colombian star Dylan Fuentes on a reggaeton remix, Toronto rap icon Kardinal Offishall joined by Jayd Ink and the 4Korners on the Canadian remix, and Jamaican superstar Konshens appearing alongside Ghanaian J.Derobie<\/a> on a dancehall version. The “Nobody (Trinidad Remix)” goes even further into Caribbean influences with the participation of a soca mogul, Voice. Amapiano also gets its moment in the spotlight with the remix of Focalistic, the rising light of Afro-house, which is currently exploding in South Africa. Finally, the “Nobody (Icons Remix),” released last week, features Nigerian star Laycon and is already a massive hit. All these remixes are marks of recognition for this Nigerian phenomenon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
