Their debut album <em>Music in Exile\u00a0<\/em>was released in 2015 via Transgressive Records and also via <strong>Julian Casablancas<\/strong>&#8216; Cult Records partnered with Atlantic Records.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u201c<\/span>With \u2018Bamako\u2019 we just wanted to write something fun and positive about where we come from,\u201d says lead vocalist\u00a0<b>Aliou Tour\u00e9. \u201c<\/b>So much of what people hear about Africa is negative; bad news stories about war and famine just dominate the common image of Africa.
