C<\/span>ongolese-Canadian DJ\u00a0Bonbon Kojak<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Montr\u00e9al-based \u201cafrocentric collective\u201d Moonshine<\/a>\u00a0comes back with a powerful\u00a0afro-electronic mixtape “Doce Doce”<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0collective who hosts secret parties in town is home to\u00a0Pierre Kwenders<\/strong><\/a>, Kae Sun<\/strong>, The Posterz\u00a0<\/strong>and has featured acts such as\u00a0DJ Windows 98<\/strong>\u00a0(Arcade Fire\u2019s Win Butler) and\u00a0Tiga <\/strong>brother’s Thomas Von Party<\/strong>\u00a0from label\u00a0Multi Cuti.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

With “Doce Doce” Bonbon Kojak mixes afro-electronic sounds from Kwaito to Baile Funk of the favelas with mashups and remixes from artists like\u00a0Mc Pikachu<\/strong> & Mc Brinquedo. <\/strong>An introduction to the sounds heard at these underground Montr\u00e9al soir\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n
