Tunisian producer\u00a0to release debut album via InFin\u00e9 on November 16th 2018.<\/h3>\n

Following her 2017 debut EP, the producer and DJ member of the Arabstazy collective<\/a> <\/span>continues the adventure with French label InFin\u00e9 announcing the release of her album titled “Khonnar”.<\/p>\n

Pronounced “Ronnar”, it is a term that makes the most of Tunisia\u2019s cultural and linguistic spectrum. It evokes the dark, shameful and disturbing side of things, the one we usually seek to hide, but which Deena instead sticks our noses in with her music that blends\u00a0bass, techno and experimental.<\/p>\n

Deena’s hybridized DJ sets, on the outer reaches of sub-cultures, and especially the one she performed at Sonar 2017, propelled the young artist into the clubbing universe\u2019s most demanding spheres (Boiler Room, Concrete, Room for Resistance, S\u00e4ule\/ Berghain…). Last year, she also collaborated on the tracks \u00abPlunge\u00bb and \u00abAn Itch\u00bb from Fever Ray\u2019s second album.<\/p>\n
