The Nairobi rapper and producer filmed a\u00a0fun clip for the trap and Kwaito-influenced tune in Detroit, where Bill was visiting for an Afrofuturism lecture. Decked out in inflatable costumes, Bill dances amongst a collection of scrap and old toys that&#8217;s too full of life to be called a junkyard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">With his first solo album,\u00a0<em>Everyone\u2019s Just Winging It And Other Fly Tales\u00a0<\/em>(Lusafrica\/The Garden), DJ, rapper and producer Blinky Bill puts Kenyan modern music on the global map.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">It is largely in his studio of Nairobi that leading figure of underground Kenyan and backbone of the collective\u00a0<a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCjozfkyuA4nrl71Z5rmC8Sw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Just A Band<\/a>, recorded his first album: 12 groovy tracks between rap, funk, nu soul and electro which favour the vibrant Kenyan urban scene (Muthoni Drummer Queen, Sage..)\u00a0and more widely African (Petite Noir,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/sampa-the-great-sing-it-loud-and-free-yourself\/\">Sampa the Great<\/a>, Nneka).
