The band&#8217;s sound rather relies on the drums&#8217; complex and heady polyrhythmics, as\u00a0the tempo shifts, following the natural rhythm of the musicians. Electronic effects and drones create a dark and progressive atmosphere. Gloomier than their first EP,\u00a0these tracks are road hardened constructions that demonstrate the evolution of the band, and the conversation between two cultures.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=3152773718\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nyegenyegetapes.bandcamp.com\/album\/uingizaji-hewa\">Uingizaji Hewa by Duke<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Tanzanian producer Duke announces his album\u00a0<em>Uingizaji Hewa,\u00a0<\/em>featuring 9 tracks of unrelenting Singeli. The Pamoja Records resident has\u00a0a complete DIY style, stretching the BPMs\u00a0to extremes, and a completely unique sampling style borrowing from everything from popular Tanzanian advertising jingles to ambient sounds from around his studio. The album features\u00a0MC&#8217;s such as MCZO, Dogo Lizzi, Pirato MC and Kashiwashi.<\/p>\n<p>Nihiloxica&#8217;s<em> Biiri\u00a0<\/em>will be out on February 14th and Duke&#8217;s <em>Uingizaji Hewa <\/em>will be out on March 8th, both on\u00a0Nyege Nyege Tapes.
