It fuses\u00a0Ethiopian jazz, Tuareg grooves, Afro-funk, Somalian soul and contemporary Jazz influences.<\/p>\n<p>The album features collaborations with seven artists including Sudan Archives, Josef Leimberg, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, and Ethiopian singer Hamelmal Abate, who lends her\u00a0voice to first single &#8220;Shuruba Song&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=3783114678\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"http:\/\/dexterstory.bandcamp.com\/album\/bahir\">Bahir by Dexter Story<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The thirteen tracks do\u00a0not feel stuck between two worlds, but rather feel as they belong to both.\u00a0On <em>Bahir<\/em>, Dexter Story\u00a0melds his world into the one he fell in love with so strongly while in Africa.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bahir<\/em>\u00a0will be out on March 15th on\u00a0Soundway Records.
