To be released on Februabry 22nd on Wah Wah 45s.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Isaac\u00a0Birituro\u00a0hails from the world-renowned lineage of\u00a0xylophone virtuoso Kakraba Lobi. Leeds-based producer Sonny Johns aka The Rail Abandon has worked with artists such as\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ali Farka Tour\u00e9, Oumou Sangar\u00e9, Tony Allen, Cheihk L\u00f4 and Fatoumata Diawara.<\/span>\u00a0Their collaboration\u00a0was a thing of serendipity, that led Sonny to\u00a0build a mobile recording studio in Kalba.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yesu Yan Yan&#8221;\u00a0is the\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lead single taken from this project<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and was actually the very first song Isaac played to his new musical partner.\u00a0A perfect marriage of brass, reed and wind instruments, backed by abundant percussion, a resonant bass-line and The Kalba Birifore Choir. The title, that translates to &#8220;welcome&#8221;, is also the opening track of the forthcoming album.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Kalba\u00a0<\/em>was recorded\u00a0over three days in a church &#8211; the only place that had reliable electricity.\u00a0A part of the proceeds from this album will be used to help the R\u00fct\u2019n\u2019Rock Association build a school in Kalba, North Ghana and continue to fund music projects that will impact positively on people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yesu Yan Yan\u00a0<\/em>will be out on February 22nd\u00a0on Wah Wah 45s.
