{"id":41934,"date":"2019-03-05T19:51:38","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T17:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/inna-de-yard-drops-music-video-for-if-you-love-me-taken-from-forthcoming-album\/"},"modified":"2020-04-27T03:36:11","modified_gmt":"2020-04-27T02:36:11","slug":"inna-de-yard-if-you-love-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/inna-de-yard-if-you-love-me\/","title":{"rendered":"Inna de Yard drops music video for &#8216;If You Love me&#8217;, taken from forthcoming album"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"pam-featured-content\" ><iframe  class=\"pam-featured-content\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r9UzDQFY9OY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/h4>\n<h4>This new single taken from their upcoming album <em>Inna de Yard,<\/em> to be released on Chapter Two Records, follows the succes of their last opus\u00a0<em>The soul of Jamaica.<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Build around four main singers who have crossed the ages, Inna de Yard also gathers the Viceroys trio as well as musicians from the young generation who wish to perpetuate those musical traditions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Against\u00a0Kingston\u00a0young generation&#8217;s flow of recording their music in digitally equipped studios, the All-Star band decided to go back to a simple, acoustic and outdoors apparatus, closer to Nature and its vibrations.<\/p>\n<p>Initiated by Makasound Records in the early 2000&#8217;s, the Inna de Yard project gave birth to eight albums recorded in the yards of Kingston. Just like the rest of the project, this song is part of the band most emblematic repertoir.<\/p>\n<p>The album was recorded under the eye of famous film maker Peter Webber, nominated three times for the movie\u00a0<em>Girl with a Pearl Earring.\u00a0<\/em>From this footage, a full-length feature film was made, as well as the video clip above.<\/p>\n<p><em>Inna de Yard<\/em>\u00a0will be out on April 12th\u00a0on Chapter Two Records.
