The group&#8217;s rotating\u00a0roster i<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">ncluded Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo,\u00a0Kandia Kouyat\u00e9,\u00a0Mamani Keita,\u00a0Mariam Doumbia,\u00a0Nneka,\u00a0Pamela Badjogo among others. Using music as a weapon they believe that music can contribute to the trigger of behaviour change.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Les Amazones d\u2019Afrique are formed by: Malian singer\u00a0Mamani Ke\u00efta,\u00a0Kandy Guira,\u00a0Benin&#8217;s\u00a0Fafa Ruffino, Niariu and the band Nyoko Bokbae\u00a0among others. The band features some new faces, but the message remains loud and clear: violence against women must stop. Women must be able to realise their potential and not be held back by the dominant patriarchy.<\/p>\n<p>The collective is now returning with\u00a0 &#8220;Amazones Power,&#8221; a song that tackles these issues head on. \u201c<em>Never again, silence, violence.
