His debut EP, soberly titled<\/span>\u00a0<em>Rema,\u00a0<\/em>released on May 22th on\u00a0Mavin Records, confirmed the ability of his songcraft, his knack for catchy melodies, hooks and an understanding of how Auto-Tune best suits Afropop.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dumebi&#8221; was defintely one of the highlights of the EP, even starting a <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jfMc84et3Mg\">Dumebi Challenge wave on Youtube<\/a><\/span>. The music video features Rema with four of his friends,\u00a0paints a story of unrequited love where Rema is the third wheel of a couple.
