Among their findings, a 1973 unreleased album,\u00a0<em>Al Hadaoui. <\/em>Habibi Funk\u00a0went on a journey of digging in order to learn more about the leader of the band, Abdelakabir Faradjallah, and the enigmatic reasons why it never got released.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=3275742308\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"http:\/\/habibifunkrecords.bandcamp.com\/album\/habibi-funk-011-al-hadaoui\">Habibi Funk 011: Al Hadaoui by Attarazat Addahabia &amp; Faradjallah<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Faradjallah was originally a cinema poster painter. He started writing music to share his alternative interpretation of gnawa culture, a music genre that comes from the descendants of black Subsaharian slaves. He formed the band Attarazat Addahabia in 1968, with 13 of his family members.
