The Lion King: The Gift <\/em>will feature DJ Lag, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Tierra Whack and more…<\/h4>\n

For her Lion King<\/em>-inspired album, queen of r’n’b Beyonc\u00e9<\/a><\/span> took care of gathering the best talent from Africa and its diaspora.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

That is whuy she enlisted gqom pionneer DJ Lag<\/a>,<\/span> naija heavyweights Wizkid<\/a><\/span>, Burna Boy<\/a><\/span>, Yemi Alade<\/a><\/span> and Mr.Eazi<\/a><\/span>, as well as rap superstars Kendrick Lamar<\/a><\/span>, Childish Gambino<\/a><\/span>, Jay-Z<\/a><\/span>, Pharrel and Tierra Whack<\/a><\/span> to create the soundtrack for the movie.<\/p>\n
