Rising sensation Divine Ekubor, widely known by his stage name\u00a0Rema shares new 4 track EP entitled Bad Commando.\u00a0Considering as the future of afro-pop Rema\u00a0blends Western influences with hip-hop, alt\u00e9 scenes or afrobeats and with his soft voice he manages to\u00a0create\u00a0a unique sound.<\/p>\n

Bad Commando<\/em>\u00a0follows the whirlwind success of his\u00a0self-titled debut EP.\u00a0Following its release in March, the EP rapidly shot to no.1 in Nigeria with all 4 tracks charting in the top 5, generating the massive hits \u2018Iron Man\u2019 and\u00a0\u2018Dumebi\u2019.<\/p>\n

More recently Rema being featured in\u00a0Barack Obama\u2019s summer playlist<\/a>\u00a0has\u00a0also been heralded by\u00a0The Fader\u00a0as\u00a0\u201cNigerian Pop\u2019s Golden Child\u201d<\/a>, and credited as\u00a0\u201cLeading the next generation of Nigerian Pop\u201d<\/a>\u00a0according to\u00a0Pitchfork.<\/span><\/p>\n
