Fashioned out of her multi-faceted background, this new direction into production is led by two tracks that are already out: \u201c4cus\u201d and \u201c Xoxa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/1Xx0Co8MdMV6tuZwUaQ2HS\" width=\"300\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/span>\u201cXoxa\u2019 is the first track Mr Allofit and Doowap created together in a style reminiscent of the golden age of kwaito. When asked about her musical influences, Doowap explains:\u00a0<i>\u201cI appreciate how you can feel the emergence of the digital age within 80\u2019s music with the use of synthesizers in pop and electronic. Tracks at that time were a beautiful balance of analog and digital in synth-pop productions. Fashion, art and music really came together during this time, with art pop, Michael Jackson, Basquiat and supermodels all hanging out and inspiring each other, and I feel at home in it. With this EP, it\u2019s\u00a0a growth; a follow-on progression of Doowap the multi-dimensional being, who dances, DJs, and drops original music inspired by my appreciation for the 80s and its multidimensional creativity.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Recording in English, French and Zulu to convey the message that love is it\u2019s own language and does indeed connect us all, Doowap\u2019s original productions are full of colour, charisma and coy charm.
