Recorded during two years long, between\u00a0Johannesburg and Cape Town, this album explores the role of a griot in the occidental African culture and offers a spiritual journey into jazz. The record will be the ensemble\u2019s first on legendary jazz imprint Impulse!. Ahead of the album\u2019s release, the group has shared the lead single\u00a0<em>Go My Heart, Go To Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The album is described as \u201ca meditation on the fact of our coming extinction as a species.
