The banjo virtuoso also shared the first single from <em>The Ripple Effect<\/em>, \u201cNashville.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rrfsingXXnA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Throw Down Your Heart: The Complete Africa Sessions<\/em> brings together B\u00e9la\u2019s Grammy-winning 2009 album <em>Tales from the Acoustic Planet, Vol. 3\u2014Africa Sessions<\/em> along with <em>Africa Sessions Part 2: Unreleased Tracks<\/em> as well as <em>The Ripple Effect<\/em> with kora player Toumani Diabat\u00e9. The kora is considered as a forerunner instrument and cousin of the banjo. The collection, including three discs of music and a DVD, document Fleck\u2019s journeys in Africa to discover the roots of the banjo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew that my beloved instrument had originally come from West Africa,\u201d Fleck wrote in a statement. \u201cAnd from time to time I found tantalizing tidbits of African acoustic music that gave me the confidence to know that there was a phenomenal amount of incredible stuff going on under the radar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Ripple Effect <\/em>is\u00a0due out on March 27 via Craft Recordings.
