{"id":40978,"date":"2020-02-07T17:21:46","date_gmt":"2020-02-07T16:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/sauti-sol-unveils-suzanna-first-single-extract-from-new-album\/"},"modified":"2020-09-29T14:28:40","modified_gmt":"2020-09-29T12:28:40","slug":"sauti-sol-unveils-suzanna-first-single-extract-from-new-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pan-african-music.com\/en\/sauti-sol-unveils-suzanna-first-single-extract-from-new-album\/","title":{"rendered":"Sauti Sol unveils &#8216;Suzanna&#8217;, first single extract from new album"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<h4 class=\"pam-featured-content\"><iframe class=\"pam-featured-content\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mFBJtuQ1Llc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/h4>\n<h4>The Afro-pop band recently signed with&nbsp;Universal Music Group&nbsp;and are currently preparing their next album <em>Midnight Train.<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This&nbsp;new deal means that&nbsp;Sauti Sol will have access to new networks around the world, wider audiences and new opportunities. <em>Midnight Train<\/em> will therefore probably have to meet more global requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a disco style,&nbsp;the song has the classic ingredients of the band&#8217;s hits.&nbsp;<\/span>Bien-Aim\u00e9 Baraza, Willis Chimano, Polycarpe Otieno and Savara Mudigi sing here for Suzanna, their girlfriend who disappeared, &#8220;changed her skin colour&#8221; and whose &#8220;hair is longer&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>This expected new album <em>Midnight Train<\/em>&nbsp;follows the huge success of 2019 album <em>Afrikan Sauce<\/em>&nbsp;a standout album featuring&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">artists from the four corners of the continent (Burna Boy, C4 Pedro, Mi Casa, Toofan&#8230;).
