These caf\u00e9s were social hubs, where these individuals met up weekly, playing together and sharing their everyday life experience.\u00a0This compilation brings together eight tracks that were then released on audio cassettes only and offers them for the first time on vinyl!<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=3972307663\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/track=716609123\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><a href=\"http:\/\/lesdisquesbongojoe.bandcamp.com\/album\/maghreb-k7-club-synth-ra-chaoui-staifi-1985-1997\">MAGHREB K7 CLUB: Synth Ra\u00ef, Chaoui &amp; Staifi 1985-1997 by Various Artists<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>There, the practice of music was cross-regional with different North African influences, but also with local traditions. These versatile musicians also absorbed new local influences: music within the context of immigration was a perfect school for musical cosmopolitanism. Chachacha or tango versions of some Cheikh El Hasnaoui tracks come to mind, or <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Mohamed Mazouni<\/span>\u2019s jerks and twists.
